Best guide I've seen to date. July 8, 2010 H-F (Canada) I always keep my reviews plain and simple: straight to what you need to know.
Pros:
- Detailed maps for each chapter/location.
- Amazingly excellent strategy given for each boss fight.
- Complete list of all fiends.
- Also gives good advices on where to grind for CP.
Cons:
- None.
The lifesaver to get the most out of this game May 1, 2010 S. Ng This guide was very detailed and it helped me saved hours of trying to complete the game on my own. It was a lifesaver and made the gaming experience all that much more interesting. I replayed the game a few times just to revisit the parts that I missed on previous rounds. Shipping was extremely fast - it arrived 2days after purchase. Overall a great experience!
Piggyback make this best guides April 9, 2010 S. Carignan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like all Piggyback guides, this is a very well constructed guide that offers all the info you need, but with minimal spoilers. The walkthrough offers all the info you need to get through the battles and where to power level. It offers great info on how to upgrade your weapons and paradigm system. I highly recommend this guide.

Well this book is not very usefull due to the fact that the game is very very linear..well too much linear. The pictures are nice and the stuff are well described but you can beat the game easily without it. For people searching for the Platinum Trophie I guess it's a great help.
Wish I bought 5 instead of 1 March 24, 2010 S. V. Robichaud (Quebec City, Canada) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Nothing bad to say about this book, it's great!
The only problem I have with it is the fact I only bought one.
I kept my LE version sealed and bought a regular version since they are pretty much similar, appart from the fact one is Hardcover and has just a few art pages.
I wouldn't recommend paying a lot for it like on ebay and stuff like that. The Regular edition does the job well too. Plus, the softcover regular edition is softcover which makes it easier to read IMO.
The guide is great, in the table of contents, it says which section is mostly prone to spoilers (either story spoilers, or gameplay spoilers) and each walkthrough section provides a detailed map.
I would recommend this for FF XIII fans, but you won't really need it for strategic purposes since the game is already pretty linear :P
