It took me a long time to want to read this series because I don't usually like the same reading material as others. And seeing as the Twilight saga had a huge teen following I wasn't too interested. But I picked up a copy of the first book "Twilight" from the library and couldn't put it down. I then ordered the rest of the books and finished them in a week! Even the parts that annoyed me ended up turning out alright once I knew how everything fit together in the end.

I have read all 4 book and I must say that I am very disappointed. The first book was so, so. The second was long and boring. The third was OK and the fourth was long, weird and boring.

OK so I am a little out of my league when deciding what young people should read. At 55 years young I was thoroughly encased in the Harry Potter series, until I saw TWILIGHT, then the New Moon came out on shelves and they were showing trailers. I bought New Moon in paperback read it 3 times, I needed more!!! I was shopping and saw the set and ran my fingers across the pages. I had to know, I needed to continue. I bought the saga. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the writing and the adventure, Bella and Edward and Jacob come full circle, in love.
Recommendation... a must read for all ages who love a great love story.
