I love the ZOOM aspects of this camera especially the MACRO ZOOM which amplifies closeups.
The HD video is very good and simple to use.

The camera takes good quality pictures and has very good image stabilization. There are 2 minor things that I don't care for: 1. The dial on top seems flimsy and bad location. 2. The movie record button gets pressed too easily when I hold the camera for a vertical shot. It should be over to the left more. Other than that this is a great camera and worth the money!

excellent camera; zoom is terrific; LCD gives you a nice view; wide angle is also a good feature; just make sure t buy a big SD card for all of the high def vid and picutres you will take

Just purchased this camera and so far we are very happy with it. It takes fabulous pictures, is very portable and is very easy to use. It has a lot of automatic modes built in to help you take good pictures at a variety of ranges and under a variety of light conditions. It is also very well made and has a nice large display screen. Picture download is super easy with either Windows XP or 7 machine. The battery life is respectable but not outstanding.
