| Customer Reviews: Great buy. February 22, 2010 Larry Freiman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A great little camera at a really good price. Perfect for a small purse or jacket pocket when on the go.
Great camera for price! Very easy to use! February 9, 2010 C. Dodd (Canada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this camera a month ago and am very pleased. Even my five year old can take pictures that aren't blurry. This camera is very easy to use and the instructions are very easy to understand. I purchased a 4 GB camera card for it and it holds more pictures than I could imagine every needing on the card (over a thousand). Also it can take HD movies which I have yet to try but am looking forward to. Apparently the 4GB card will hold a 1/2 hour movie. If your looking for a quality digital camera without spending a lot, this is the one!
This camera is very compact and stylish. I don't regret purchasing this at all!
Great camera, plus HD video mode January 26, 2010 Tom Douglas (Mid-Atlantic) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
PROS
- Easy to use with simple controls and menus
- Excellent 'out-of-the-box' picture taking
- Great range of 'next-step' features that give you control
- ISO 1600 gives good image quality
- HD (1280x720) video mode
CONS
- This camera suffers in low light, although it is no worse than other compacts. If you have used a DSLR this will bother you, if you haven't, it won't
- No HDMI cable and no memery card, again increasingly normal with compacts.
There are better feature sets out there, but not by much, and certainly not in this price band. For the money, this is a fantastic camera, and comes with the pedigree of the Canon Powershot series.
Highly recommended. Five stars.
