I absolutely love this machine. I installed the full version of Windows 7 and have found it runs perfectly. The keyboard takes a minute to get used to if you usually use full-sized keyboards, but the display and sound are great. Extremely fast shipping - I ordered on boxing day and had it on the 29th! Buy the carrying case as well.

Bought for daughter.
Spent few days getting it ready before Christmas - the setup was straightforward, but the sync software to sync with another computer kept timing out (to her laptop). Finally had to give up and wrap it. Daughter loves the pink design and it was definitely worth spending the time to finally find one at Amazon. PC runs great and keyboard is easy too. Finally got the sync software to finish by forcing the default power mode to never go to sleep - strange how software/computer couldn't tell it was busy syncing - wireless, 2 gb data etc - computer was very busy but it just kept going to sleep in 10 mins and I wasn't about to keep standing there hitting a key to keep it alive. Everything except that one problem is excellent.

I purchased this HP Mini for my daughter's 16th birthday. We've hooked it up as a regular desktop PC when she's doing homework, with apple keyboard [...], USB wireless mouse and LCD monitor. It is totally functional, and daughter takes everywhere like one of her text books. So far, a great product. Only concern, is no CD drive, so loading some software needs some creativity, like super large USB or external hard drive. Love the colour!

I have not bought this item, i have seen a black one in use and it looks as thought it works well, so i am giving it 5 just based on that bc it seems unfair to mark it down when i don't own one... yet..
This looks very purple to me on the screen, this makes a huge difference to me as I already have a wind which is pink... It won't let me see the other views on the screen.. is it pink or purple!?! and does it come in purple if it is pink? lol.

Very satisfied with this product but having trouble with webcam reception.Choppy sound and cuts in and out, making talking difficult. ???Suggestions
