This is a great album. No weak songs. Very melodic. I will be using it a lot on the back deck or around the bonfire. It would also make a great road trip album. Buy it.

I first heard the title cut of Blitzen Trapper's "Furr" on CBC Radio and was really taken with it, so even though I'd never heard of this group before I was prompted to order the CD. We have not been disappointed - the writing is witty and skilled, the musicianship tight and top notch. There's an interesting mix of styles on the CD too, from melodic ballad-type songs to good ol' down-home rock. Very little in the way of program notes though - it would be nice to know more about the musicians and the group as a whole. We look forward to hearing more of this music!
