I was delighted with the purchase of this album on Amazon.ca. To begin with, it was half the price that it was in any of the retail outlets that I looked at, and most importantly the collection of songs was wonderful. Something to please everyone, from some of her earliest to her most recent releases, including her most recent rendition of "Hallelujah" exactly as she performed it at the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies in Vancouver. It moved me to tears then and each time I listen to it on this CD it does so again. You can't lose with this album. This lady was born to make beautiful music.

We would recommend "Recollections" to everyone without the slightest hesitation.
K.D.Lang's most beautiful style and the clearest voice....every word can be understood in all these heartfelt songs.
We heard her sing "Hallelujah" at the Winter Olympic ceremonies and it left a lasting impression on us and that's why we bought this CD. We were certainly not disappointed....every song on the two Cd's is absolutely beautiful!

This album "k.d. Lang recollection" is a wonderful collection
of all her best. I'm loving it! I have to admit I didn't have
any of her albums until now, just hadn't gotten around to it.
However, her scene stealing performance at the opening ceremonies
of the 2010 Winter Olympics spurned me on. Worth every penny!

KD Lang has came in and out of my listening habits over the years, but her performance at the Winter Olympics brought me back to her and her magical voice and phrasings. Recollections is why you buy cds and full albums rather than just downloading individual songs; the best treasure discovered for me (of many) was her Golden Slumbers/ The End. The love you get is equal to the love you give
